I had the pleasure of helping a first time buyer purchase her first home in the East Orlando/Conway area. She bought a pristinely maintained half duplex in the Essex Point South neighborhood. Essex Point South is a small community comprised of duplexes with some lovely amenities such as tennis courts. This community is deed restricted so none of the units are designed to be rentals, only homeowners here. This was a nice attribute for my buyer as she wanted to be in a community where she knew all her neighbors and there was a nice level of stability.
The home had recently had the roof replaced with a 30 year architectural shingle roof and a new giant a/c unit. One of my favorite features about the homes in this community is that they all have garages and generously sized back yards. Conveniently located close to state road 436 and the airport not to mention the Lake Conway area and downtown, there are rarely units for sale here and when there are they go quickly.
